The case:
A group of employee shareholders of FNZ allege the effect of equity raises executed by the FNZ board in 2024 and 2025 transferred wealth from the employees who built the company to the institutions who control the company through their appointed directors.
The employee shareholders claim this transfer is worth up to USD 4.6 billion.
The claim alleges multiple breaches of the New Zealand Companies Act, and has 16 allegations across these areas.
